VCGE 2016 Scholarship Opportunities:
The Vermont Council for Gifted Education (VCGE) is proud to offer the following student, parent, and educator scholarships:
1. Student Scholarship(s): Up to $1000 will be offered to a student or students wishing to attend a gifted program, camp, or school during the summer of 2016.
2. Parent Scholarship(s): Up to $1000 will be awarded to a parent or parents wishing to attend the SENG or NAGC annual conferences.
3. Educator Scholarship(s): Up to $1000 will be awarded to an educator or educators wishing to attend the SENG, NAGC, or UCONN Confratute annual conferences.

Awards are not intended to cover the entire cost of the program/conference. 

To apply for a scholarship, email scholarships@vcge.org with the following information:
1. Contact Information (name, address, email, phone)
2. Letter of intent written by the applicant describing how the program/conference will benefit him or her
3. Statement of need for financial assistance. Include amount requested as well as a copy of the first page of your most recent Tax Return.

Awards will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once funds are exhausted, assistance is no longer available. Applications will be accepted beginning March 1, 2016. Applicants are encouraged to apply early. A committee of VCGE Officer & Board members will review applications and award scholarship amounts based on total number of applicants as well as applicant’s interest, passion, and need.
