Keynote Speaker

Cindy Strickland

Cindy Strickland, author of In Search of the Dream: Designing Schools and Classrooms that Work for High Potential Students from Diverse Cultural Backgrounds, and co-author, with Carol Ann Tomlinson, of Differentiation in Practice: A Resource Guide for Differentiating Curriculum, Grades 9-12 has provided hundreds of workshops on topics relating to differentiation, the Parallel Curriculum Model, and gifted education.

 

Additional daytime workshops include:

w       An introduction to Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG)

w       Differentiated Instruction in the High School

w       Differentiated Instruction in the Regular Classroom

 

Fees:

Day:  $125  per person including lunch - $10 discount for VCGE members $25 per person discount for schools sending 4 or more teachers

Evening:  $ 20 per person with a $10 discount for VCGE Members
