The Vermont Council for Gifted Education sponsors many events for
educators, parents, and other advocates of gifted children, ranging from
local parent forums and member meetings to special speakers and conferences.
VCGE has an annual spring conference that features both speakers well
known for their expertise in the field of gifted education as well as
breakout sessions for parents and teachers. Another major event is the annual
New England Conference on Gifted and Talented Education. This two- or
three-day conference takes place in the fall of each year in one of the six New England states, with each state taking its turn to
host this regional conference. See below for details on these, and
other, events.
